Part-Time Assistant Producer
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
• The part-time producer will work closely with the Senior Managers of Makers Alley an art and makers collective.
• Candidate will provide support for exhibitions, programs, and projects that support the overall mission of the collective.
• Develop, manage, schedule, and update communications of day-to-day initiatives to send to members and current volunteers through email, text, calls, meetings,
• Organize and maintain priorities to keep ideas on track and updated.
• Create processes and document them for future members/volunteer involvement.
• Schedule meetings and connect the dots for partners, patrons, members, and volunteers.
• Delegate tasks to volunteers that need action to support the mission.
• Note-taking from meetings and follow-up communications.
• Collaborate with website Admin and Graphic Artist to set up scheduling calendar tools and updates to the website and social platforms.
• Manage exhibition logistics and communications such as handling drop off and intake of art for exhibitions
• Must be personable and a responsive communicator
• Manage appointments for site visits of exhibition space for Head of Makers Alley.
• Research and follow up with leads.
Qualifications:
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills – a people person
• Strong initiative and work ethic, ability to think creatively and work independently.
• Demonstrable skill with solid spreadsheet proficiency specifically connected to Quickbooks, for expense tracking
• Experience in managing logistics and production for event-based activity
• Strong sense of project management
• Skilled communication writer for various platforms of communications
• Experience with Mac, PPT, Google docs, DropBox. Excellent skills across all social media and website platforms,
• Ability to juggle multiple projects, ideas, and people at one time
• Event management and digital production experience very helpful
Compensation:
• 6 month – 1 year commitment potential full time
• $20-25 per/hr up to 10 hrs per week
